Weirdest healthcare experience: I was working on the cardiac unit and I had a female patient that was admitted for severe hypertension. When her low-sodium meal arrived, she reported to be “ I can’t eat this s*** today.” She then looked at me and asked, “you wanna share a pepperoni pizza?” (spoiler alert: I said, thanks, no.)
